Hand knit baby blanket, This was made using self patterning yarn, which is so much fun for me to knit with. I love the way this one turned out. The stitches are small and precise, I used very small needles to knit this one.
The pink, purple and white turned out very nice and the colours are very vibrant.

This knit baby blanket is reversible, the stitches are different on each side, but the colour pattern is the same. The last picture is of the backside of the blanket.
This would make an excellent baby shower gift, or just a treat for your special little one. I love knitting baby blankets, there's nothing cuter then a little one all snuggled up in knitted softness.
I used a premium, anti pilling acrylic yarn for a few reasons. I believe that acrylic is the perfect choice for a baby blanket. Babies can have allergies to wool and animal fibres like alpaca and sheep which can cause some terrible rashes/hives etc. This blanket is soft, not scratchy at all. Also, for ease of care. This blanket can be machine washed and dried on low settings. No real special care required
Measures approximately 33 inches (84 cm) by 33 inches. This is a great stroller blanket, car blanket and it would look amazing in a nursery or crib. Folds up nicely and can be tucked away in a diaper bag.
Would make a great photo prop blanket as well. The colours really stand out.
