I knit this scarf, using a garter stitch, for its simplicity. I enjoy the texture and look of it knit up with the larger yarns. Inspired by Clair's big knit cowls from the show outlander, I put my own spin on it and decided to knit it into an infinity scarf, as they're my favourite scarves to knit.
This is a large sized scarf, measuring approximately 10 inches wide and 60 inches ( in a loop). This is a great statement piece, perfect for layering, and those really cold days when you need the extra warmth. I'm from Canada and know what a cold winter day is!!
This scarf can be worn in a multitude of ways, it's versatile and I chose a wool / acrylic blend for warmth and softness.
Can be machine washed and dried no problem but I do recommend washing it separately in cold water to ensure it keeps looking new.
I have several other scarves listed in my shop and will be adding several more in the next few days. I've been busy knitting up scarves for the last month or so.
